Assembly machine for TO240 modules. The machine performs the final welding o power terminals and control terminal on a DCB by using the Spot Welding technology. Five separate station performs the welding operations on each terminal by reflowing a preform below the terminal feet. The DBC is preliminary preheated to accelerate the welding process. Full feedback control is performed on the welding operation to assure perfect quality After welding a robot assures the feeding and caulking of rivets in the module when required. Finally a complex measuring station equipped of 10 measuring sensors having the definition of one micron performs several measurement to assure perfect quality of the assembled part. Loading of parts to be processed and Unloading after the process is assured by a SCARA robot. AOI station at entrance controls conformity of each incoming module. A SCADA human interface assures complete monitoring of the process during production .
